THE HOUSTON ILLINI CLUB WELCOMES YOU!

NOTES:
1) The Club will soon begin our 2012-2013 membership year on July 1st.  As a Houston-area University of Illinois alumni, this would be a great time to renew or join the club via completing http://houstonilliniclub.com/join.html or http://houstonilliniclub.com/renew.html.  Then, be sure to send in your dues to the UIAC of Houston, P.O. Box 542314, Houston, TX 77254.  While some Illini are eligible for dues exemption (i.e. those who graduated less than three years or more than 50 years ago), everyone must complete the on-line renewal form to be counted as a member.
2) As a club member you will be periodically notified via e-mail of forthcoming club events.  These can be seen at: http://houstonilliniclub.com/upcoming.htm.

Our group, the University of Illinois Alumni Club of Houston (or the Houston Illini Club) has dedicated this site to keeping our members and fellow Illini informed of the activities of the organization.  We are open for membership to all of the over 3,600 University of Illinois alumni in the Houston Metropolitan area.  Our purpose is to:

• Unite our members based upon our common Illinois heritage;

• Serve as a positive force in the Houston community;

• Provide scholarships to local area high school students who choose to attend the University of Illinois ($10 of each member's annual dues goes towards the club's scholarship fund).  May 2012 note: See our scholarships page, as Houston Illini Club is pleased to announce that Samantha E. Holt, a May 2012 graduate of St. Pius X High School, is the recipient of the Club's 2012-2013 scholarship in the amount of $1,250.

If you currently reside in the Houston area, and are a graduate of the University of Illinois (UIUC, UIC or UIS) please join the UIAC of Houston club.  If you are a former member please renew your membership.  If you are already a member, please remember to keep us updated concerning changes to your contact information - especially your E-Mail address!
