Turner on 2/12:
Great event at the game. I think Luther and Deron
both played well, combining for seven assists compared to only one turnover. I
just skimmed a video of the game's broadcast. I'm pleased to see that the FSN
interview with Graham aired. Job well done, Graham. Clyde Drexler and Bill
Worrell talked about the Illini for some time after Graham's interview.
Comments include: Clyde: "The Illini fans are here in force!" Bill: "That's
great to see." Bill: "We couldn't be prouder of Luther Head" Clyde: "He's a
gentleman, too. A 4-year senior." It would be great if we could get a collection
of photos from the game. If you have some good photos from tonight, please send
them to Mark at webmaster@houstonilliniclub.com. Also, if you are reading this
before Sunday's game, we will meet with a few of the Austin Illini at Champps
Americana (1121 Uptown Park) to watch the Ohio State game at noon. Deron said we
will win the Big Ten, and Luther said we'll make the Final Four again this
year... and neither Deron nor Luther has ever told me a lie.
